<p>Now in its third year, the <strong>Sony World Photography Awards </strong>gives amateur and professional photographers the chance to win international recognition plus some very exciting prizes, including cash and <strong>digital SLR cameras</strong> by Sony. One of the biggest and most influential events of its kind, the <strong>Sony World Photography Awards</strong> attracts entries photographers from more than 150 countries.</p>
<p>Don’t be intimidated if you’ve never entered a photo competition before. The Sony Photography Awards is <strong>open to everyone</strong> and it’s totally <strong>free</strong> to submit your images. All you need is a digital camera – and a little imagination.</p>
<p>The Amateur competition includes these award categories: <strong>Architecture; Conceptual &amp; Constructed; Documentary; Fashion; Landscape; Music; Natural History; Portraiture</strong> and<strong> Sport</strong>.</p>
